SHIMANO RS305 mechanical disc brake is easy to control as well as set up and maintain. It mounts via SHIMANO's Flat Mount interface.

Shimano BR-RS305 delivers sustained braking performance even under difficult conditions, thanks to Ice-Tech heat dissipation (when using the appropriate rotors and pads). At the same time, the New Super SLR System* ensures optimal dosage. BR-RS305 comes with a pair of resin brake pads with cooling fins as well as (in the front version) an adapter for 140 and 160 mm brake rotor mounting.

SLR stands for Shimano Linear Response. In its " new" version, this braking system is designed for maximum friction reduction in the brake caliper, brake lever and inner cable. This improves the brake's responsiveness and dosage.
